Kampe Foundation Classroom Grant Program for Delta County Teachers 2021/2022

We seek to reward teachers who are innovative in their approach to teaching by providing resources not available through normal school funding.

The deadline is Friday, February 4th, 2022 for this application. If your application is selected you will be contacted by a foundation representative on February 9th, 2022 with further details.

Grant Requirements and Guidelines

Who May Apply?

Delta County School District teachers and staff.

What is the grant size?

Up to $750 for elementary and secondary classrooms.

What are the selection criteria?

Providing relevant, standards-based, inspiring material is essential to engaging students in the classroom. We recognize that teachers know what motivates their students. A lottery system will be used to select two grant recipients from each these four categories:

  • Pre-K – 2nd grade
  • 3rd—5th grade
  • 6th – 8th grade
  • 9th – 12th grade

When will the funds be available?

Wednesday, February 9th, 2022

When must funds be used?

All grants must be used by the last day of school for the 2021/2022 school year.

When is grant application deadline?

Friday, February 4th, 2022

When will I know if I am selected or not?

All applicants will be contacted by a Kampe Foundation representative on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 regarding the status of their application.

What sort of reporting is required?

Recipients of funding are required to submit a final report that highlights the use and impacts of grant funding on student learning. Student comments, photo and video that represent the grant in action are welcome.
